Celebrul tren Orient-Express va traversa si in acest an "plaiurile mioritice". Plecarea ca de obicei se face din Paris , trenul indreptandu-se spre Budapesta unde calatorii vor petrece o noapte pornind apoi spre capitala Romaniei, Bucuresti, unde vor petrece o zi si o noapte dupa care vor pleca spre Bulgaria unde vor vizita cateva puncte turistice ca mai apoi sa se odihneasca in drum spre statia finala Istanbul Turcia

Sambata 03.09.2011 : Trenul ajunge in Budapesta la ora 15:42 dupa care turistii sunt transferati la hotel unde vor servi cina la un restaurant de lux.
Duminica 04.09.2011 : Turistii vor avea parte de un tur al orasului apoi vor servi pranzul la un restaurant urmand sa plece spre Romania la ora 18:08
Luni 05.09.2011 : Trenul va ajunge in Sinaia la ora 08:52 unde turistii vor vizita catelul Peles plecand la ora 12:20 spre Bucuresti .La ora 14:16 va sosi in Bucuresti Nord. Vor vizita orasul si vor lua cina la hotelul unde sunt cazati.
Marti 06.09.2011 : La ora 09:05 trenul va pleca spre Bulgaria.
Miercuri 07.09.2011 : Este programata sosirea in statia Sirkeci din Istanbul la ora 15:18.

Aceste date sunt pur orientative urmand ca programul oficial sa fie inmanat calatorilor o data cu documentele de calatorie. Trenul isi poate schimba ruta pe parcursul calatoriei daca sunt lucrari pe traseul normal!!!

Saturday 03.09.2011 : The tourists arrive in Budapest at 15:42 were turists wele be transfered to hotel.
Sunday 04.09.2011 : Full day's guided tour of Budapest. Lunch at local restaurant. At 18:08 the train depart to Romania.
Monday 05.09.2011 : Arrive in Sinaia at 08:52. Guided tour of Peles Castle and depart to Bucharest at 12:20. The train arriving in Bucharest at 14:16 were tourists take a tour of Bucarest. Arrive at hotel for overnight stay.
Tuesday 06.09.2011 : Depart to Bulgaria at 09.05.
Wednesday 07.09.2011 : Arrive in Istambul (Sirkeci Station) at 15:18.

Eu am auzit ca delfinul 742 va tracta trenul anul acesta,dar nu sunt sigur

Asa este cel mai probabil, 742 va face pereche cu unul din Delfinii de Brasov pana la Sinaia. Mai departe va pleca singur spre Bucuresti, probabil masina de Brasov plecand ca dubla la R831.

Arrive the next day in Bucharest for a one night stay, and continue your journey towards Budapest where you stay one night. Rejoin the train the next day and travel into Austria, stopping for a short city tour in Vienna before your overnight journey to Venice, where your journey ends.

Itinerary
Friday - Check in at Istanbul’s Sirecki station in the afternoon to board the blue and gold Wagons-Lits of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express. As the train leaves the station you glimpse magnificent views of the Sea of Marmara. Dinner and overnight on board the train.

Saturday - Continental breakfast is served in your cabin as the train travels through Bulgaria and on into Romania. After lunch onboard, VSOE arrives in Bucharest. Enjoy an early afternoon tour of the city. Dinner and overnight in Bucharest at the Athenée Palace Hilton Hotel.

Sunday - This morning rejoin the train for the short journey to the mountain town of Sinaia. On arrival transfer to a local restaurant for lunch and then on to Peles Castle, the Summer home of the former King Carol. This beautiful castle was also visited by the very first Orient-Express guests in 1883. Return to the station late afternoon and your journey continues towards Hungary. Dinner and overnight on board.

Monday - Arrive in Budapest this morning and enjoy a sightseeing tour of this city split into two parts by the Danube river. Lunch is provided before transferring to the Sofitel Hotel for an overnight stay. Dinner and overnight in Budapest.

Tuesday - Transfer to the station mid morning to rejoin the train. Lunch is served as the train crosses into Austria, arriving in Vienna late afternoon, where you disembark for a visit to this beautiful city. Rejoin the train for dinner and your final night on board.

Wednesday - After breakfast on board, whilst travelling through Italy, arrive in Venice mid morning and disembark into the sparkling city.

Absolut superbe pozele! Stiati ca astfel de vagoane "Pullman" au circulat si la CFR inainte de comunisti? Practic aceasta companie, CIWL (Companie International Des Wagons Lits) inchiria in acea perioada vagoane de dormit tip "Pullman" catre CFR, similare cu cele ale Orient Expres-ului.
